On October 17, the "the Belt and Road" Entrepreneurs Conference was held in Beijing. At the meeting, NORINCO International under China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) signed an EPC general contracting framework contract with Awsat Energy FZE Company in the United Arab Emirates for the Dhi Qar Refinery in Iraq , with a contract amount of approximately 2 billion US dollars. After the completion of the project, the main products will be gasoline, diesel, liquefied petroleum gas, as well as chemical products such as xylene, benzene, and sulfur.This project is conducive to promoting the local economic and the social development. At the same time, as the first large-scale petroleum refining plant project of NORINCO International, this project will further enrich and improve its business segments, provide strong support for high-quality development.
