Recently, Pakistan has been hit by severe flooding for days. One of the worst-hit areas in Pakistan is Multan district in the southwestern hinterland of Punjab province, where the Orange Line operation and maintenance project of NORINCO (China North Industries Corp.，) under China North Industries Group Corporation Limited (NORINCO GROUP) for the Lahore, Pakistan, is located. On September 6, a team of volunteers drove 400 kilometers overnight to the disaster area to hand out free relief supplies to the poor local people, which is greatly boosting the morale of the local people in the fight against the flood. In the future, the joint venture of Lahore Orange Line operation and maintenance project will continue to actively fulfill its territorial social responsibilities and make China-Pakistan friendship last for generations.
